No Matter What Method is Used to Teach Math, Make it FUN 

This article is on The Conversation regarding Ontario’s efforts to move away from discovery based learning to back to basics.  In summary, the effort complete misses the point of teaching since both traditional and discovery based teaching styles have their advantages and disadvantages.  Therefore, you should provide a mix that is appropriate for your class.  I in particular wanted to mention this article because it references the research of my colleagues at VCU.  I also want to note that I found this on The Intrepid Mathematician, so thank you to them for sharing.  They have more great articles on graph theory and education on their blog, so check it out.
